Storm Fever Pitch

This creative creation brings fresh air to urethane offerings, delivering an angular motion like never before. Featuring the cutting-edge PWR+CTRL Urethane pearlized coverstock, it’s aptly named for its powerful control on the lane.

What sets it apart is the unique Tour Block core, with high RG and low differential design, offering impressive length and back-end recovery, surpassing both the Pitch Black and Pitch Blue in angularity and total hook. On shorter oil patterns, the Fever Pitch truly shines, allowing for precise play near the second arrow and delivering unmatched pin action.

Columbia 300 Tyrant

What sets this high-performance ball apart is its creative use of the HyperSHOCK additive in both the core and coverstock. With a 2000 Abralon finish right out of the box, the Tyrant offers an early lane read, making it a force to be reckoned with. Featuring a low RG of 2.48″ and a high differential of 0.056″, its asymmetrical core design provides an impressive flare potential, surpassing the Swerve core.

This ball is engineered to grip the lane early and deliver a substantial hook on the most challenging oil patterns. Stroker and Cranker found their sweet spots on heavy oil lanes, with the box finish enabling precise play and a powerful arc to the pocket.

Ebonite Matrix

This powerhouse boasts the same GB 12.7 Solid cover that made waves with the Mission Unknown. Its 500/2000 Abralon box-finished cover encapsulates the asymmetrical Matrix Reload core, known from the Matrix of the previous year.

The Matrix Solid’s gritty box finish effortlessly conquers heavy-volume test patterns. Stroker, with a straight-up approach, found his rhythm starting at 12 and crossing over the 10 at the arrows, aiming for eight as the breakpoint down the lane. Tweener, on the other hand, set his ball down at 20, sending it away from the pocket over the 15 at the arrows before hitting eight at the breakpoint.

Cranker, with a more aggressive stance, ventured into the densest part of the pattern right from the beginning, starting at the 30 board, targeting over the fourth arrow, and guiding it just outside the paths of the other testers down the lane. Across the board, all three testers noted the Matrix Solid’s substantial mid-lane read, accentuated by a potent move off the breakpoint, setting it apart from the Game Breakers.

Hammer Web

As part of a dual release, this ball draws inspiration from the successful Rhodman Pearl on the PWBA Tour, featuring the Spheroid weight block. While maintaining a similar RG, it boasts a notably higher differential compared to the Spheroid TE block in the Web Tour Edition, providing an exciting twist in performance.

The Hammer Web showcases the Aggression Hybrid coverstock, finely tuned with a 2000 Abralon finish. This combination translates to enhanced front-end cleanliness and a robust downlane motion, distinguishing it from the Web Tour. Out of the box, it offers a more angular and extended reaction than the Fierce Phobia.

With its sanded box finish, the Hammer Web delivers exceptional traction in the oil, while the hybrid cover ensures longevity, preventing premature ball burnout. Our testers found their sweet spots, all guiding the ball out to the eighth board at the breakpoint. What’s intriguing is how each bowler utilized distinct approaches through the front of the lane to achieve this impressive result.

Motiv Trident Nemesis

The Motiv Trident Nemesis marks the impressive fourth installment in the Trident lineup. A standout feature of the Nemesis is its innovative asymmetrical Sidewinder core shape, setting it apart from its predecessors with a higher RG, lower total differential, and reduced intermediate differential, thanks to the Turbulent core.

Complementing this unique core design is the Infusion HV Pearl Reactive coverstock, a fresh addition that delivers exceptional length and responsiveness on dry lanes. The Infusion cover has previously proved its mettle on popular releases like the Forge Fire, Ripcord, and Supra.

On a medium oil test pattern, Tweener and Stroker discovered a winning formula with the Trident Nemesis. They experienced solid mid-lane traction and a significant move as the ball hit the dry area, showcasing the ball’s box finish. What’s noteworthy is the Nemesis’ assertive coverstock, offering a more pronounced mid-lane reaction compared to the Supra and delivering ample back-end motion in line with their playing styles. Starting near the track area and making slight adjustments leftward to find fresh oil as the lanes transitioned, they achieved excellent results with the Trident Nemesis.

DV8 Vandal Strike

This iteration showcases the potent combination of the Composite Flip Pearl coverstock and the Vandal Low RG Asymmetric core. With a factory finish of 500 SiaAir and Crown Factory Compound, it shares the same coverstock preparation as the Rumor, Creed, Vandal Destroy, and Freakshow Flip.

Our testing revealed that the Vandal Strike delivers impressive length on the lanes, surpassing the Vandal Destroy in this aspect. However, it maintains a similar back-end movement and offers just slightly less total hook, making it a compelling choice for bowlers seeking a dynamic but controllable performance.

Conclusion

Ultimately, we conclude with a wide range of high-performance Red and Black Bowling ball, each with unique strengths and characteristics. From the innovative Storm Fever Pitch, offering striking aesthetics and exceptional hook potential, to the power-packed Columbia 300 Tyrant, designed for heavy oil patterns, and the dynamic Ebonite Matrix Solid with its strong mid-lane presence – there’s a bowling ball tailored to elevate your game.

The Hammer Web’s hybrid coverstock and the Motiv Trident Nemesis’ responsive Infusion HV Pearl Reactive cover open up exciting lane possibilities. Finally, the DV8 Vandal Strike offers impressive length and controlled hook potential.
